Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your access to klauzify.com and any associated services (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization.
2. Description of Service
Klauzify is a browser-based tool that reads agreements, terms of service, and similar documents, and extracts the clauses a careful reader would want flagged — fees, renewals, cancellation terms, liability, data sharing, dispute resolution, deadlines, and binding obligations. Output is informational summarisation produced by automated language models and is not legal advice. The feature set is available in free and paid tiers and may evolve over time.
3. Free Tier
The free tier allows up to five document analyses per day, with a per-document cap of roughly ten pages. Free-tier analyses are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama-class models). The free tier is provided without warranty and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time without notice.
4. Pro Subscription
- Billing: Pro is billed monthly in U.S. dollars and processed through Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
- What you get: Unlimited daily analyses, a higher per-document cap (~50 pages), processing by Claude Haiku 4.5 (via the Anthropic API), and PDF export of results.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. After the first 14 days, payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
- Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price change by email or in-app notice. You may cancel before the change takes effect.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any law or regulation, or any third-party right;
- Submit content you do not have the right to submit, or that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or the underlying infrastructure;
- Scrape, automate, or stress-test the Service without our written permission;
- Interfere with, disrupt, or impair the Service;
- Circumvent any rate limits, paywalls, or technical measures we use to enforce these Terms;
- Resell, sublicense, or re-host the Service without authorisation.
6. Intellectual Property
The Klauzify website, name, branding, and original code are ours. The Service uses open-source components under their respective licences (including third-party SDKs and fonts). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
7. Your Content
You retain all rights in the text you submit for analysis. We do not store the document text after processing. Document text is transmitted to a language-model provider (Cloudflare Workers AI for free analyses, Anthropic for Pro analyses) solely so the model can return extracted clauses; that processing is governed by those providers' own terms. Do not submit content you are not permitted to share with a third-party AI provider.

8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Clause extraction is automated and may miss clauses, mislabel them, or summarise them inaccurately. Klauzify output is not legal advice. You remain responsible for reviewing any document before relying on it, and you should consult a qualified lawyer for binding interpretation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klauzify will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD $10 if you are a free-tier user.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time; Pro subscribers may cancel from the account screen. Sections 6 (IP), 7 (Your Content), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Liability), and 11 (Governing Law) survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection rules, you retain the benefit of those rules.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above; for Pro subscribers, we will provide at least 14 days' notice by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
