Frequently asked
What counts as one "document"?
One submission to the extractor. If you paste or upload a single agreement and click Extract, that's one document — regardless of length, up to the per-tier page cap.
Is Klauzify legal advice?
No. Klauzify produces automated summaries to help you read faster and spot risk. It can mislabel or miss clauses, especially in unusual or non-standard contracts. For decisions that matter — disputes, settlements, business contracts — read the full text and consult a qualified lawyer.
What happens to my documents?
Document text is sent to an AI provider (Cloudflare Workers AI for free, Anthropic for Pro) so the model can extract clauses. The response is returned to your browser and the text is not stored in our database. See the Privacy Policy for the full details.
Do I need an account for the free tier?
No. The free tier works without an account — the 5-per-day limit is enforced by IP address. If you create an account it'll be enforced per-account instead, which is friendlier on shared networks.
What happens if I hit my monthly cap?
You'll see a message at extraction time telling you you've reached the cap, with a link to upgrade. The cap resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Upgrading to a higher tier raises the cap immediately — the documents you've already used this month still count.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your account at any time. Upgrades take effect right away; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. If you downgrade and have already used more than the new plan's cap this month, you'll see the cap message until next reset.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep your paid features through the day you've already paid for.
What's your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers. After the first 14 days, monthly payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
Will the price go up?
If we ever raise the price, current Pro subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email and can cancel before the change takes effect.
